ORPCG became a member of the international organisation IFRRO

On the 4th of November 2019, the Organisation for the Achievement of Reprographic Rights of Montenegro (ORPCG) became a member of the International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations – IFRRO. IFRRO is the international organisation of collective management organisations (CMOs) based in Brussels, with 151 members from 83 countries in all continents in the world.

At the invitation of the IFRRO, the executive director of ORPCG, Albert Junčaj, attended the IFRRO World Congress held in Edinburgh. During this occasion, the President of IFRRO, Mr. Yngve Slettholm, announced the ORPCG as a new member and complimented its work in the presence of representatives of other IFRRO members from all around the world.

Among other topics, the challenges and effects of new technologies such as the Artificial Inteligence (AI) and Blockchain on the copyright and the operation of CMOs have been discussed.
